USP - Universal Smart Power Supply
The Universal Smart Power Supply by U2 Boards is an intelligent power supply designed specifically for the U2 Family of products. This USP can operate up to (9) U2 Boards products (UIP, UIC, UIO, 2PoE) up to a maximum of 14 Amps. The USP is web enabled and provides the power needed without the addition of external power supplies.
A powerful microprocessor with various memory support is included for functionality with the U2 Boards Family of products. Communication to the “upstream” UIP host, or “downstream” to the UICs and UIOs, is included via RS-485 connections.

- A powerful and efficient switching 27 VDC, 13 Amp, 271 watt power supply.

- Switching supply with universal Inputs from 90-240 VAC.

- Onboard automated cooling via built-in fan with temperature monitor
- PWM control and regulation
- Current limiting self-resetting breakers
- Tri-color LEDs to show status of Power and Communications
- 2 STN character displays for communication status, diagnostics, configuration and testing
- 9 two wire terminal connections for outbound communication to UIC and UIO boards.
- 9 RJ45 ports for RS-485 outbound communication to UIC or UIO boards for use in daisy chaining
- EOL termination resistor is provided at each RS-485 port for multi-drop requirements
- 9 four wire terminal connections for outbound 24VDC power for UIP and UIC boards
- 1 input set of terminals for external lock power
